What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Crisis Response Counselor QMHP position at Village Behavioral Health?
We are urgently hiring for our Mobile Crisis Response Team. Village Behavioral Health began providing mental health services to adults, children, and families in 2014. Since our start, we have grown to expand upon the services we provide to the community including supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse. We are looking for Qualified Mental Health Professionals for our Comprehensive Crisis Services Division. Mobile Crisis Response and Community Stabilization are short-term interventions to stabilize and link individuals experiencing a mental health crisis with long-term support. Some of the duties are to provide one-on-one supportive services to individuals experiencing a crisis jeopardizing their current placement, initiate and facilitate de-escalation techniques, utilize effective interpersonal communication skills, and engage in support interventions in accordance with the individual service plan and the therapeutic process. The Comprehensive Crisis Services Division services individuals in the Richmond area as well as surrounding counties such as but not limited to: Richmond, City, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, Chester, Petersburg, Hopewell, Dinwiddie, Colonial Heights, and Midlothian. The candidate must have a Qualified Mental Health Professional Certification.
