Receptionist
Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Human Resources Director
Education/Experience Required/Preferred: A high school diploma is required.
Salary Range: $18 - $20/hr (The salary is the expected range and is dependent on candidate qualifications.)
General Responsibilities
The Receptionist will be responsible for answering, screening and forwarding calls, and providing information on behalf of the school. They will greet persons entering the Central Office, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, help them if possible, and if not, direct or escort them to the appropriate destination.
Specific Responsibilities
- Phone operator
- Mail distribution
- Assist with mailings
- Order office supplies for Central Office
- Receptionist and greeter
- Assist HR Director
- New hire paperwork process
- Filing
- HR event planning and execution
- Admissions Assistance
- Answer basic admissions questions for walk-ins and prospective calls when admissions representatives are occupied
- Health Office Assistance
- Assist students and parents when Health Office is closed
- Place 911 calls when directed by the school nurse or an administrator
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Print Room
- Replenish paper supply in the copier
- Replace toner as needed
- Order supplies as needed
- Maintain supply of VCS envelopes and requisition forms, order as needed from printer
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Central Office Lounge
- Replenish supplies as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

This is a full time, 40 hours a week, 12 month position. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director.
