Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in the daily operations of our school office, ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of administrative tasks. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a strong sense of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
-Manage the Principal's schedule, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
-Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (email, phone calls, mail) with professionalism and discretion.
-Maintain accurate and organized records, including student files, staff records, and budget information.
-Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
-Coordinate and organize school events and activities.
-Assist with student registration and enrollment processes.
-Manage school supplies and equipment inventory.
-Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and community members.
-Provide general administrative support to the school office.
-Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
-Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in an educational setting.
-Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
-Experience with student information systems (e.g., Power School) is a plus.
