What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN/LPN position at Village Family Healthcare?
We are looking for a compassionate RN/LPN with the ability to work in a fast-paced Primary Care Practice. The RN/LPN will be responsible for monitoring patients, performing routine checks, and assisting providers and nurses.
To be successful as an RN/LPN you should be able to take direction and work well in stressful situations. A good RN/LPN has great observational skills and empathy for patients while remaining professional.
RN/LPN Responsibilities:
- Completes health assessments and provides health diagnosis input to provider for the development of care plans.
- Performs nursing duties, including vital signs, administration of fluids, medications and therapeutics based on individual care plan.
- Ensure that patients take their medication.
- Works with external agencies to coordinate services and ensure consistent treatment plan.
- Communicate medical knowledge in lay person terms to enhance patient education and understanding of acute, chronic, and progressive disease processes.
- Follow established policies and procedures to work in clinical environment involving exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations that require safety precautions and may include use of potentially hazardous materials and situations.
RN/LPN Requirements:
- Completed RN/LPN license program. Maryland license.
- Empathy for patients.
- Ability to take instructions from providers.
- Ability to prioritize and manage the volume of patients.
- Exercise judgement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
