Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of company equipment and vehicles
- Expertise in brakes, suspension, cooling, light engine work, and transmission systems
- Diagnose drivability issues using advanced techniques and technologies
- Troubleshoot hydraulic mechanisms on heavy equipment like plows and dump trucks
- Read and interpret diagrams and instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment
- Problem-solve electrical issues in 12/24V systems
- Perform metal fab/welding tasks using wire feed and stick welding techniques
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections
Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic
- Valid driver's license with a spotless driving record
- Basic tool ownership with the option to use company-provided specialty tools
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Class A CDL license
