Job Summary

Village Home Stores (Downtown Geneseo) is looking for an applicant to be a welcoming presence for our showroom and all Village Home Stores customers. This showroom assistant will also assist our sales and design team from behind the scenes with the design, presentation, and sales of our kitchen and bath projects. You will be an important part of our team by creating computer renderings and design presentations for our projects that help our customers to visualize the finished project. Every project we work on is different from the next. Great hours in a fun and exciting industry. No Nights, Short Saturdays, No Sundays!

Position Requirements:

• Microsoft Office Proficient
• Outgoing personality and enthusiasm for the Kitchen Bath Industry
• High organizational skills and time management skills to handle workflow deadlines
• Quick learner with the ability to multi-task
  
  
  

Position Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in keeping a clean and professional looking showroom and check in/out customer samples
• Create realistic design presentations using 2020 Design and PowerPoint in a timely manor
• Make adjustments/changes to presentations as needed per designer’s requests and meet designer deadlines for completion of presentations
• Improve upon our current presentations to bring them to a new level
• Assist in creating preliminary cabinet designs for pricing and presentations using 2020 Design
• Assist in pricing cabinetry and countertops and generating customer quotes
• Gain a general knowledge of all Village Home Stores products & services in order to greet and assist customers with general questions
• Qualify customers to determine the best way we can help them
• Assist in the success of Village Home Stores in any way possible
  
  
  

Schedule TBD within these hours: M-F 8:30-5pm select Saturdays 8:30-12pm

Compensation:

Starting Pay will be hourly rate based on experience; Additional worked hours (beyond 80 per pay period) will be paid at an overtime rate of 1 1/2 times hourly wage. Overtime may be required periodically depending on work load.
