What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Village Inn Family Restaurant?
Working with the General Manager you will oversee the day to day operations by helping hire, train and retain the hourly team members. It's important that you have a passion to lead and for the restaurant since the hourly team members will look to you for guidance and acceptable behavior and standards.
The ideal candidate:
2 years of current restaurant management or general management experience in a fast casual, family, or casual dining environment
Can effectively manage Food Cost, Labor Cost and other restaurant metrics
Excellent Hands On, Inspiring Leadership style
Ability to lead a team in a fun and engaging environment
Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills
