The Social Worker provides social work interventions to Laguna Woods Village residents to help maintain independence and enhance the resident’s quality of life. The Social Worker will complete assessments, perform short-term counseling, plan for long-term care, facilitate support groups, and resource referrals. Population is older adults, and attention to detail with clinical notes is a must.
This is a full-time, benefitted position. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Duties:
- Provides therapeutic services to residents of Laguna Woods Village
- Performs services in accordance with the highest principles of social work profession
- Maintains clinical notes and prepares monthly statistics
- Serves as field instructor for intern during academic year (min. one hour per week)
- Creating personalized treatment plans
- Conduct psychosocial assessments
- Ability to work independently and create your own work schedule
Qualifications:
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Reliable transport, you will be conducting home visits within the community
- Minimum possession of MSW, with intention of obtaining LCSW
- LCSW preferred but not required
- Preferred knowledge of work with older adults/seniors
