At VillageMD, we're looking for a Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to help us transform the way primary care is delivered and how patients are served.

How You Will Get Things Done:

• Effectively provide service and/or resolve problems
• Dedicated to meeting the expectation of internal and external customers and patients
• Perform all sonography imaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams
• Position the patient appropriately to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest
• Perform image reconstruction as necessary
• Organize and monitor patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, and safety standards
• Utilize clear and effective communication to properly screen patients prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to ordered exam
• Demonstrate ability to thoroughly explain procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation

EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE CHANGE

• Associate degree or Bachelor's
• ARDMS certification required
• Satisfactory completion of a formal sonography program or other compatible course of study
• Minimum of 1 year sonography experience in Abdomen, Vascular, MSK, OB/Gyn preferred
