Starting: $75,300
Salary currently tops out at $114,900 (not including holiday pay)
Schedule:
- 12-Hour Permanent Patrol Shift Schedule:
- 6 AM and 6 PM start/stop times
- Every other weekend off

Upon successful completion of the field training program, an officer can apply to openings within specialty assignments.
- 12-Hour Permanent Patrol Shift Schedule:
Minimum Requirements:
- No application fees. - High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Authorized to work in the United States under federal law or qualified under the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) for deferred immigration action.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be 21 years of age and under 35 years of age at time of application, or as otherwise exempt by statute.
- Valid POWER Test Card issued no more than 365 days prior to the date of the application. Only cards dated 3/21/2024 – 3/21/2025 will be considered valid.
Required Documentation due 3/21/2025 at 2:00 PM:

- Copy of high school diploma (or GED)
- Copy of valid driver's license
- Copy of proof for authorization to work in the United States or qualification under DACA – can include: county/state-issued birth certificate, U.S. passport, naturalization papers, permanent resident card, DACA documentation
- Copy of valid POWER test card dated 3/21/2024–3/21/2025
Mandatory Virtual Written Exam:
Candidates must take the mandatory written examination the week of April 14th, 2025. The exam will be administered virtually during business hours. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can test during these times. Exact dates/times for the exam will be released at a later date.
Mandatory Oral Interview:
Candidates achieving a passing score on the written exam will be invited to the mandatory oral interview scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025. No alternative interview dates will be offered.
