What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Works Crewperson position at Village of Johnson Creek?
The Village of Johnson Creek is seeking a full-time Public Works Crewperson to join our team. This position performs routine maintenance and repairs on village streets, sidewalks, street lighting, storm sewers, park facilities, and other municipal buildings and grounds. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional availability on nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary for snow removal and infrastructure repairs.
Minimum Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent degree and a valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one). Residency within 15 miles (30-minute response time) of Johnson Creek to address weather-related emergencies and infrastructure issues is required.
Pay is $23.50 per hour with an excellent benefit package. Extra compensation may be available to successful applicants who are members of the Johnson Creek Fire & EMS Department or employees who become members of the Department!
