Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and conflict management, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
• Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance; assess situations and take appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences for documentation purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security breaches or emergencies.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.

Experience

• Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques is beneficial.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and understanding of CCTV systems is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.47 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
