What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Laborer position at Village of Lincolnwood?
The Department of Public Works is looking to hire seasonal employees for up to six months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Experience in one of the following is required)
- Mowing and landscaping
- Branch chipping
- Basic maintenance of vehicles
- Building maintenance
- Perform related duties and manual labor as assigned
- Snow removal as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Possession of a valid drivers license
- Ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Hours & Wage: The starting rate for the position is $20.00 per hour. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Lincolnwood residency is not required for this position.
