Police Officer (BLET Certified)

The department consists of our Chief, four full-time officers, two part-time officers and two reserve officers. We currently utilize a permanent 2-2-3 schedule with shift changes happening at 5am and 5pm.

Daily activities consist of security checks around the Village, conducting traffic enforcement/patrol activities, answering calls for service and being visible to deter potential crime. In addition, we provide security services for Pfeiffer University and also house Gray Stone Day School in our jurisdiction.

We are looking for officers that will promote a safe environment and abide by our community-oriented policing philosophy. Ideal candidates will possess North Carolina basic law enforcement training certification and be of good moral character. · Salary: 46,762.80 – 50,296.80

· Permanent 12 Hour shifts (5a-5p and 5p-5a)
