The Permits and Development Manager/Chief Building Official will be responsible for planning, directing, managing and overseeing the activities and operation of the Permits and Development Manager including plan review and building inspection; review and recommend adoption of various building codes; manage contracts for external support; encourage investment in the community through efficient and strategic building codes and internal processes to coordinate assigned activities with other Village departments and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Development Services as the Village’s Chief Building Official and ADA Coordinator.
