The Park Maintenance Worker will help with the upkeep of the Village of Rantoul. The Park Maintenance Worker will help with a variety projects such as mowing, trimming, trash removal, raking, shoveling, landscaping, basic maintenance, and cleaning different areas thru out Rantoul.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a valid State of Illinois drivers license
- Be able to multi-task and excellent attention to detail
- Preferred someone who has experience in Grounds / Park Maintenance
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to work independently; possess initiative; and be able to work effectively in a group setting
- Dependable and reliable
- Present yourself in a positive; professional manner at all times
- Experience with hand/electrical tools, preferred; but not required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Be comfortable working in all different types of weather conditions
- Make minor repairs as needed
- Mow, pick up sticks, landscape, trash removal, shovel, and rake
- Assist in repair and maintenance
- Water plants if needed
- Communicate with Foreman / Recreation Assistant Director with any issues that arise
- Follow safety policies and procedures at all time
