The Roaming Shores Police Department is currently accepting applications for the positions of:
Full-Time Police Officer
Part-Time Police Officer

Police Officer Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- United States Citizen.
- Criminal record free of felony convictions or other crimes of aggression, violence or moral turpitude.
- An acceptable driving record that qualifies the candidate to be insurable and to remain insurable under the village’s vehicle insurance policy.
- Basic Ohio Police Office Training Academy with current OPOTA certification required at time of appointment.
- Favorable employment history.
Preference will be given to officers who have prior experience, instructor certifications, FTO and LEADS TAC or ATAC certification.

Starting Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits include:
- Full-time starting salary of $21.89 - $24.73

$5,000 HIRING BONUS for new full-time hires with less than two years full-time experience.
