What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Lake Front Maintenance position at VILLAGE OF ROUND LAKE BEACH?
The majority of the work will be performed outdoors with occasional indoor work. Duties include a variety of manual labor projects, as assigned. Must be able to lift or carry a weight up to 50 lbs.
Job Duties:
- Driving a golf cart
- Patrolling beach, picnic area, walking path, and boat launch
- Emptying refuse containers
- Communicating with police dispatch center for any emergencies
Hours: up to 40 per week; noon-4pm and 4pm-8pm shifts Monday – Sunday
Position would run from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend (flexible)
Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Illinois Driver License. Must successfully pass drug and alcohol screening, criminal background and driving record check.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 per hour
