What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker position at Village Pizza?
We are currently looking for a staff member that will complement our busy kitchen. Previous pizza / restaurant experience preferred but not required. We have a flexible staff and could put to use anyone with knowledge or desire to work in any aspect of the production cycle (i.e. dough making, food preparation, line work, delivery, pizza cook, etc.). Compensation scales with the variety of tasks / position and is determined on entry.
Duties:
- Make menu items according to recipes and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas throughout shift
- Greet customers / answer phones
- Enter orders and complete customer transactions within the POS system
- Miscellaneous prep / portioning / cooking
- Other duties as relevant and assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Welcoming, personable, friendly, and enthusiastic about customer service
- Willingness to learn
- Works well in a busy enviroment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.66 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
