Receptionist (Every Sat, Sun, Mon)

Village Place Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Full time receptionist to be the first impression of our beautiful, fully renovated Skilled Nursing facility. We are looking for an experienced front desk receptionist who is looking for a rewarding job experience.

Work Hours are every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8AM to 7PM

The top priorities of this position are :

Make the best first impression & provide effective customer service.

Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Interact with the residents & greet incoming visitors. Direct visitors and callers to proper locations and department heads.

Be experienced in Microsoft Office.

Provide clerical support for the administrative staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Answer phones with proper phone etiquette & direct all calls in a polite & friendly manner to the appropriate person.

Monitor the doors as to incoming & outgoing persons.

Maintain lobby area in an orderly manner, free from clutter at all times.

Report unusual incidents to management.

Qualifications for this position :

Previous experience in work involving public contact such as customer service, is desirable.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Able to operate a multi-line telephone system.

Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft programs.

High school degree or equivalent required. College education preferred.

Be polite, responsible, outgoing, punctual, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.

Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.

Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.

Must enjoy teamwork.
