We are in search of a Full Time Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of motorcoaches in Oklahoma City, OK. We have just moved into a brand new, state of the art facility, built specifically for buses!

Summary:
The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Mechanic is responsible for using all available resources to complete basic repairs and preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles in accordance with company practices and standards. This is a first shift position from 6:00am-3:00pm. Flexibility is appreciated based on the vehicle departure schedule and overtime may be necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Basic repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC, brake, electrical, suspension, ADA, interior, engine, and aftertreatment systems with minimal errors and appropriate supervision.
- Willing to learn DOT and CVSA requirements and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance software to complete all paperwork in a timely and thorough manner.
- Proficient in the use of all necessary software and technology systems used by the company that are pertinent to this position.
- Provides and maintains all necessary tools and uses all company-provided tools in a responsible manner.
- Willingly assists other mechanics, both in home market and in other locations, sometimes requiring travel to other company facilities.
- Other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman, General Manager, and Director of Fleet Maintenance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
- Participation in the company’s DOT drug testing program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to acquire and hold a Class A or B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements.
- Degree or certificate from an accredited technical school in automotive or diesel repair.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Stand, sit, squat, and lay for extended periods.
- Able to perform duties in inclement weather as necessary.
