About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician or Assistant, you will work closely with veterinarians to provide outstanding care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering information from pet owners about their pet’s condition.
- Performing physical exams.
- Caring for hospitalized pets.
- Collecting diagnostic samples (e.g., urine, blood, feces, ear swabs, skin scrapings).
- Performing laboratory procedures.
- Preparing pets, instruments, and equipment for surgery.
- Placing intravenous (IV) catheters.
- Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthetized animals.
- Assisting with professional dental cleanings.
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments.
- Taking X-rays and educating pet owners about their pet’s health.
Your work will help ensure the health and well-being of our beloved animal companions.
