Full time 3-11 Care Specialist Assisted Living

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in the Assisted Living setting. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure their safety.
• Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living activities, promoting independence while ensuring their well-being.
• Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional and mental health.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to create a supportive care plan tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care settings such as home community care, retirement homes, or memory care is preferred.
• Knowledge of social work principles or direct support practices is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Familiarity with systems used in caregiving environments is beneficial.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by the organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
