Job Description
The department of radiation oncology at Summit Health is recruiting a full-time board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist to join our multi-disciplinary cancer center in Clifton, NJ . You will be collaborating with a team of three experienced radiation oncologists staffing three multi-disciplinary facilities. Current equipment includes 4 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators (one with full SRS / SBRT capabilities), two GAMMAMED x1 HDR units, one PET-CT sim, two CT simulators, and a very active radiopharmaceutical program. The department is supported by a talented and caring team of dosimetrists, physicists, nurses, and radiation therapists.
Summit Health’s unique, coordinated care model was designed to provide convenient access to all the services most patients will require in an outpatient setting; thus, there is no inpatient call or coverage required for this position. Through an integrated group of providers and comprehensive resources, we deliver strong clinical outcomes while ensuring positive experiences for our patients within the New Jersey, New York, and Central Oregon regions.
