Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders when necessary.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
