We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic culinary team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, their duties include creating recipes, ordering ingredients and coordinating baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pastries, pies, cookies and other goods. Baker is required to work actively with the Executive Sous Chef to ensure the company meets financial and operating goals.

RESPONSOBILITIES
- Prepare a Variety of Baked Goods: Produce bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked items following recipes
- Custom Orders: Design and create specialty desserts and baked goods for events, including themed or dietary-specific items (e.g., gluten-free, vegan).
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all products are consistent in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of ingredients and cleanliness of the baking area.
- Innovate and Experiment: Develop and test new recipes to expand the company’s menu offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 2 years prior experience as a Baker, preferably in a catering, commercial, or high-volume environment.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Creativity and artistic ability for decorative items.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and presentation.
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
- Certifications: Culinary or Baking Certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable lifting heavy ingredients or equipment (up to 50 lbs).
