We are searching for a hardworking and reliable Porter to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in our catering kitchen. The Porter plays a crucial role in supporting kitchen staff by ensuring equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean and ready for use, as well as assisting with general maintenance tasks
Now hiring: Full time and Part time
RESPONSOBILITIES
- Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, floors, counters, and workspaces.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware following proper protocols.
- Regularly empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
- Stock and Inventory Support:
- Unload and organize deliveries, storing ingredients and supplies in appropriate areas.
- Assist in keeping storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers organized and clean.
- Replenish kitchen supplies as needed.
- Event and Catering Support:
- Help set up and break down event areas.
- Transport and organize supplies for off-site catering events (if necessary).
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond promptly to requests for assistance during service periods.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or janitorial role is a plus but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable lifting heavy ingredients or equipment (up to 50 lbs).
