Position Overview:
As a Livestock Accounting Clerk at Villari Food Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining
accurate financial records related to livestock transactions.
Specific Duties:
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Accurately record and maintain financial data related to livestock purchases,
sales, and inventory.
- Enter transaction details into accounting software systems.
2. Reconciliation:
- Reconcile livestock-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices, receipts, and purchase orders with corresponding records.
3. Inventory Management:
- Monitor livestock inventory levels.
- Assist in tracking the movement of livestock within the processing plant.
4. Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on livestock transactions, inventory levels, and financial
performance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to generate relevant analyses.
5. Communication:
- Coordinate with other departments (such as procurement, production, and quality
control) to ensure accurate data flow.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
6. Compliance:
- Adhere to accounting principles, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
7. Problem-Solving:
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements.

Education and/or Experience :
Education: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of
relevant experience and education(preferred but not mandatory).
Physical Demands:
This role is typically located in an office and the work is typical of work completed in an office
setting. However, the job may require that the individual visit certain areas of the production
facility that are wet, cold, hot, and/or contain animal waste.
