Villas at Hamilton is a 128-unit Tax Credit Senior Community located in Novato, CA. Immediate opening for Part-Time Leasing Consultant. Main responsibility include, renting/leasing apartments, screening residential applicants, i.e., inputting work orders, verifying income, assets, employment etc. along with promoting outstanding customer service.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday (21 hours weekly)
9:00am - 5:00pm
Duties:
Selected individual must have previous leasing and/or strong administrative experience, with the ability to perform administrative duties with an attention to detail and possess outstanding communications and customer service skills. May perform additional duties as directed by the Property Administrator, to include but not limited to office opening and closing procedures, and apartment office administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide information pertaining to rental rates, other lease terms, respond to prospective residents’ questions in regards to lease terms as set forth by VPM
- Tour property and vacant apartments with prospective residents; provide and accept preprinted rental application
- Accepts signed leases from prospective residents to submit to Property Manager for processing, prepare move-in packages for all new residents
- Assure maintenance requests are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate traffic reports on all telephone calls, walk-in traffic, Availability, On-Notice reports and resident files
- Prepare Three-Day Notices and perform service of said Notice; prepare legal packages for residents delinquent in the payment of their rent and the completion of Landlord/Resident Checklist with new or vacating residents upon inspection of the unit.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
- Must be able to organize, evaluate and prioritize several assignments at one time with minimal supervision.
- Must be capable of walking for long distances and walking up and down stairs effortlessly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and typing skills preferred; bilingual plus.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
