The Villas at Sunny Acres (VASA) is looking for a detail oriented and organized individual to join our family as a Business Office Assistant.
The Business Office Assistant provides administrative support to the Business Office Manager and the processes of billing facility charges to the appropriate payor, collecting outstanding Accounts Receivables, and overseeing Medicaid Pending cases, ULTCs, consolidated billing, Medicaid re-determinations.
We are large in acreage and in heart. We have DailyPay - where any day is Pay Day.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to calculate, create and process statements for residents
- Update accounting records with new payments, balances, resident information, etc.
- Execute collections processes to ensure payment for all outstanding accounts
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, handling emails, faxes, files, mailings and meetings
- Maintain filing system, both electronic and paper
- Provide ad hoc support to the business office team for all tasks including organization of meetings, payments and billing
Required Skilled and Qualifications:
- Proven success in office coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with office applications and aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and resident information
Preferred Skilled and Qualifications
- Experience in coordinating statements, payments and account reports
- Experience in helping develop internal processes and filling systems
- Basic understanding of insurance coverage in a senior care facility
- Ability to self-advocate and work well as a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:
- LTC Billing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Skilled Nursing Billing: 1 year (Preferred)
