Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in the plumbing trade. You will assist in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Duties
- Assist in the installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Participate in pipe threading and assembly processes as part of system installations.
- Support remodeling projects by assisting with plumbing modifications and installations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools to promote a safe working environment.
- Gain knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing functions.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in plumbing.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Previous maintenance person or construction experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced plumbers.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job assignments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 55 per week
