POSITION SUMMARY:
Villatel, a hospitality property management company, is expanding the Maintenance Team to work at our Resort. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and functionality of our guest accommodations and facilities. Your expertise in various trades, coupled with your flexibility and strong communication skills, will be essential as you interact with guests and deliver exceptional maintenance services within our resort properties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance Duties: Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of guest accommodations, common areas, and facilities.
- Multi-Trade Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance, to address a wide range of maintenance issues effectively.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner while addressing maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely and efficient solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, such as plumbing leaks, electrical outages, or HVAC malfunctions, to minimize disruption to guests and mitigate potential damage to property.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address maintenance issues before they escalate, ensuring the longevity of equipment and facilities.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with guests, colleagues, and management regarding maintenance activities, progress, and any potential impact on guest experiences.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, guests, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience and proficiency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or property management setting.
