What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychological Examiner position at Vilonia School District?
- Identifies student needs, makes appropriate referrals and develops strategies for individual education plans.
- Administers psychological and/or educational tests.
- Prepares written diagnostic reports of evaluations.
- Prepares oral interpretations of assessment results.
- Presents students cases at diagnostic staffings.
- Provides assistance in the development of an IEP
- Regularly consults with teachers and administrators on students academic progress, emotional and behavior plans.
- Consults on 504 student needs.
- Develops district inservice and presents on student needs.
- Maintains accurate files and paperwork for the individual students referred, screened and/or receiving therapy or other school-provided services.
- Complies with State Law and District policies and regulations.
- Maintains confidentiality, unquestionable integrity.
Requirements: Appropriate level license/endorsements and successful completion of all background checks
