The Director, Marketplace Channel will be a key member of the leadership team for the business. S/he will lead all growth initiatives on marketplace, including all demand generation and fulfillment initiatives to accelerate growth across 25 countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage mastery of marketplace tools and data to identify consumers willing to pay and stay.
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer and competitive behaviors in the global marketplace to identify underserved segments of the market.
- Product positioning that resonates with consumers and differentiates our products and brand in the core target segment.
- Develop and execute an annual marketplace channel calendar that maximizes consumer trial and repeat, while enhancing brand differentiation.
- New product and package launch leveraging 360-degree trial generation opportunities in the marketplace channel.
- Deliver annual marketplace channel budgeted revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and operating margin.
- Lead marketing investments, track performance against pre-agreed KPIs, and optimize execution to achieve desired revenue, EBITDA, HH penetration, and brand goals.
- Create strong internal and external relationships that foster collaboration to enable best-in-class execution of aligned growth initiatives.
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and evaluate expansion plans in collaboration with market research and analytics teams.
- Drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in the global marketplace. Efficiently onboard new products onto different global online
- Identify target markets and devise market entry strategies, considering cultural nuances, regulatory requirements, and local competitive landscapes.
- Build and nurture relationships with key partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to foster a strong ecosystem around the marketplace.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Strong background in Amazon marketplace, specifically 3P
- 12 years of increased responsibility in e-commerce marketplace strategy and execution
- Sound understanding of CRO, CAC, CLV, and AOV
- Strong foundation in data and analytics
- 3 years of experience with a proven track record of success in international marketplace management or related roles.
- Global / International marketing experience with record of accomplishment for a consumer-facing brand and generating business growth on a global scale.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in scaling online marketplace operations and driving international expansion is a plus.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance considerations.
