AWS Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable data solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. The ideal candidate will leverage AWS services to build efficient data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and optimize data storage while collaborating with data scientists and analysts to translate business needs into robust technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data architectures on AWS, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines using services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Develop logical and physical data models to optimize data storage, retrieval, and integrity.
• Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources.
• Monitor data pipelines, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for efficient processing.
• Ensure cost-effective data storage and processing by selecting the most appropriate AWS services and configurations.
• Apply data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
• Utilize Python, SQL, and other scripting languages to develop data processing logic.
• Stay up to date with cloud computing concepts, distributed systems, and scalable architecture best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in AWS data services, including S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, DynamoDB, EMR, RDS, and Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database optimization techniques.
• Experience designing resilient, cost-efficient, and secure data architectures in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data processing.
• Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security principles.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
