Job Details
Must have:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA MM (Material Management): This includes a thorough understanding of procurement functionalities such as purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and inventory management.
- Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management: Proficiency in Ariba tools is essential, particularly in the areas of supplier collaboration, sourcing events, and contract lifecycle management.
- End-to-End S2P Process Knowledge: Expertise in managing the entire Source to Pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving goods/services, and processing invoices for payment.
- Ability to configure and customize SAP S/4 HANA modules for procurement needs.
- Setting up procurement workflows and processes in SAP S/4 HANA to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Advanced Reporting: Skills in generating procurement reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor metrics like supplier performance, spend analysis, and cost savings using SAP S/4 HANA and associated reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Master Data in SAP (e.g., vendor, material, and purchasing data) and its integration with procurement processes.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and manage projects, including requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Waterfall, and experience handling cross-functional teams.
- Strong ability to analyze procurement processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and provide solutions based on system capabilities and best practices.
- Effective Communication: The ability to manage stakeholder expectations, gather requirements from different business units, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to train end-users and offer post-implementation support.
- Training and Mentoring: Ability to conduct training sessions for end-users on the SAP procurement functionalities and provide ongoing system support.
Process Design and Implementation:
- Analyzing existing procurement processes and designing optimized workflows within the S/4 HANA platform.
- Configuring S/4 HANA modules (MM, Ariba SCC) to support the Source to Pay process, including master data management, purchasing documents, and invoice verification.
- Implementing new functionalities and updates within the S/4 HANA system to improve procurement efficiency.
User Training and Support:
- Providing training to end-users on the S/4 HANA procurement functionalities and best practices.
- Troubleshooting user issues and resolving system-related problems within the Source to Pay process.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generating reports and dashboards to monitor key procurement metrics like spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes based on data insights.
Project Management:
- Leading and managing S/4 HANA Source to Pay implementation projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure successful project execution
- 10-12 years of overall experience in SAP, with strong expertise in Source to pay. The last couple of years must be with SAP S/4.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA MM module, especially procurement functionalities
- Expertise in Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management tools
- Understanding of end-to-end S2P process, including best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management and system implementation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
