- Hands-on Technical Security Skills : The candidate must have direct experience with security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanning (Qualys, Tenable / Nessus, Rapid7), SIEM monitoring (AlienVault, Splunk, QRadar), cloud security, DLP, IAM, and MDM
- Breadth of Security Responsibilities : The analyst will need to handle a variety of security tasks, with vulnerability management, SIEM monitoring, and secure internet access being the top priorities. They should be comfortable with this breadth of security responsibilities.
- Security Compliance and Governance : The analyst must have general knowledge of security compliance frameworks like HIPAA / HITECH and SOC2, as well as experience in security risk identification, analysis, and mitigation
