Job Description
Vimly Benefit Solutions is seeking an EDI Business Analyst that is a quick learner, has a good understanding of data transformation, and has sufficient experience with diverse EDI methods. The EDI Business Analyst will be responsible for designing and managing various electronic data flow processes along with receiving support calls to troubleshoot any EDI customer service issues. You will be part of a fast-paced Data Exchange and Administration Team that handles all data and Business Intelligence matters.
As the EDI Business Analyst, you will handle communications with trading partners for EDI transaction set-up and ongoing maintenance; coordinates between trading partners and networks to ensure mapping compliance; develops guidelines, checklists, procedures, and training documentation as required; and actively communicates with team members, management, end users, and external partners to promote sound EDI integrations and related system improvements. This position requires a mix of technical knowledge, analytical ability, clear written and verbal communication skills, and an understanding of system processes and production workflows. The EDI Business Analyst is required to perform all aspects of the position with additional responsibilities including but not limited to those outlined below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support on all aspects of the EDI process and collaborate with your team on setup and maintenance of data connections and mapping with our partners
- Assist with daily EDI operations such as scheduling, projects, priorities and other tasks and procedures
- The creation/maintenance of connection and translations, testing and implementation of new data interchanges, and ongoing daily operational support
- Collaborates with IT Team and business partners to provide EDI subject matter expertise on data models and associated systems and technology
- Establish best practices and procedures for EDI
- Directly support questions or requests from EDI-enabled customers to modify Vimly’s EDI maps and business processes
- Investigate, identify and develop a recommendation on how to resolve EDI data quality issues. Collaborate with data source stakeholders to implement the resolution
- Develop and maintain EDI user manuals and companion guides
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or 5 years in a technical role solving data formatting issues
- Customer-facing experience setting up integrations and/or solving integration issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Expert using Excel, including creating and/or working with macros
- A deep understanding of HIPAA requirements and X12N EDI Professional and Institutional (not
- limited to 837, 835, and 834) is required.

What We Offer
Base salary: $75,000 - $100,000. Eligible for annual company performance bonus earnings, up to 10% of annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary depending upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
