Duties and Responsibilities

Vincennes University Distance Education hires adjunct faculty each semester on an as-needed basis. We are accepting applications for adjunct instructors for courses in :
- Communication
- Information Technology
- Social Work
- Computer Science
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Communication : Master's degree in the discipline. May hold a Master's Degree in another area, but must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hour in the discipline.
Information Technology : Master's degree in the discipline. May hold a Master's Degree in another area, but must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hour in the discipline.
Social Work : Master's degree in the discipline. May hold a Master's Degree in another area, but must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hour in the discipline.
Computer Science : Master's degree in the discipline. May hold a Master's Degree in another area, but must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hour in the discipline.
While part-time employees are not eligible for the University's benefit plan, there are certain required taxes that will be deducted from part-time employees' pay in order for the University to remain compliant with state and federal laws.
