Architectural Project Manager
Position Overview:
VCA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Project Manager with 10 years of professional experience to lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead all phases of architectural projects, including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate and manage internal design teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with external consultants and stakeholders to integrate engineering, environmental, and regulatory considerations into project designs.
Budget & Schedule Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to financial and timeline constraints.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential risks or delays to maintain project momentum.
Quality Assurance:
- Review and approve design and construction documents to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress to ensure design intent and quality standards are upheld.
Client Engagement:
- Present design concepts and updates to clients, addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments to meet their vision and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage client and team relationships.
- Licensed Architect preferred but not required.
