As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing menus and offering assistance with any inquiries.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the TOAST POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate effectively regarding menu items.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Culinary knowledge is a plus, enhancing your ability to describe menu items to guests.
- Excellent hospitality skills, demonstrating a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their dining experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail during busy service periods.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
