Vincent Tool builds custom injection mold bases for a wide range of industry sectors using CNC vertical mills and grinders as well as manual machines used in the process including saws, lathes, radial drills, etc. The maintenance department is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all machines, maintaining shop cleanliness, and managing facility upkeep and improvement efforts with the goal of keeping machines running with minimal downtime and making sure the shop is a comfortable work environment for all shop staff.
The Shop Maintenance Technician should have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced shop and be on their feet for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail is necessary. The position is 44-48 hours weekly with flexible shift times and includes a 30 minute paid lunch.
Manufacturing or machine maintenance experience a plus but not required. We will fully train the right person so apply now!
Shop Maintenance Technician Essential Functions
· Perform weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance on CNC mills, grinders, and manual machines
· Assist with diagnosis and repair of machine issues / breakdowns as ability allows
· Facility maintenance including janitorial tasks in the shop area and management of exterior grounds
· Assist with various shop projects that involve facility alterations, layout changes, etc.
· Shop and machining support as needed
· Additional tasks as they arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 – 48 per week
