Purpose: The HR Assistant will be responsible for organization development and execution of key HR initiatives for the Company in support of achieving business goals and objectives.
Principle Accountability and Responsibility:
- Responsible for facilitation of day-to-day Human Resource functions including assisting in the recruitment process for all positions (such as open requisitions, job postings, schedule interviews, extend offers, and requisition close processes).
- Manage new employee onboarding process to include company education, background screening compliance, and employee data input activities.
- Set up and conduct new hire orientations to lead the effective on-boarding process, including paperwork, applications, documentation, and maintaining employment files.
- Build and maintain relationships with management, subcontractors, and employees regarding support and closure, as needed.
- Support company development plans and programs to ensure all staff are receiving proper training and experiences.
- Communicate and implement company policies regarding employee issues, as needed.
- Assist with the annual reviews process.
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mails and marketing materials.
- Networking and attending career events across the country.
- Provide clerical and administrative support for multiple departments.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned while exemplifying VINCI’s values.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- High school or relevant years of experience
- Minimum three years experience in Human Resources
- Minimum one year experience recruiting and facilitating the hiring/onboarding processes, with labor law compliance
Key Skills and Knowledge:
