THIS POSITION CAN BE HOME-BASED DURING THE WORK WEEK, BUT MUST BE COMMUTABLE TO MT. AIRY OFFICE PERIODICALLY DURING THE WEEK.
A growing telecommunications contractor located in Mt. Airy, GA, is looking for an Office Manager to join our team. You will be involved with a variety of duties and responsibilities, chief among them managing an office including employee operations support, accounting and payroll support, and conducting an array of accounting-related duties. This is a full-time salaried position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:
- Requires a high school diploma/GED. Additional education preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of direct experience managing a business office and/or office processes related to accounting and/or payroll, and overseeing administrative construction processes.
- Requires above average computer skills in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Requires the ability to quickly learn computer software packages particular to Vinco business
- Requires a pleasant, outgoing personality.
- Requires some exposure to HR processes (pre-interviewing, hiring, paperwork, etc.)
- Requires comfortably working with diverse individuals and groups.
- Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships with peers, coworkers, and vendors.
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures office processes and documentation are completed with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensures work crews are properly prepared to go to jobs (e.g. per diems, certifications, licenses, etc.).
- Provides direct administrative support to management and project managers when called for.
- Oversees accounting and payroll processes (reconciliations, some job cost analysis, etc.).
- Other duties as required or requested.
