We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Loader/Delivery Driver to join our team
delivering wholesale produce to local restaurants in the Central Florida area.
As our employee you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are quickly and accurately loaded and unloaded from trucks and delivered timely to our customers.
This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and safe and accurate driving skills.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading products from delivery trucks.
- Driving safely to deliver our goods and collect payment as necessary.
- Following a specified route and making sure deliveries are with the correct items to the appropriate person or business, all while sticking to the delivery timeline.
- Communicating directly with customers or business owners to get signatures to verify the delivery of our items.
- Providing exceptional customer service is a large part of the job because the Delivery Driver often interacts with the person receiving the packages.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures in compliance with company policies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills:
- Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods is required.
- Able and willing to work any and all days of the week and all Saturday mornings.
- Familiarity with Central Florida roads and businesses is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
- Ability to load and unload heavy cargo and use any machinery or equipment necessary to help.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A clean driving record and safe driving skills.
