About Vineall Ambulance: Vineall Ambulance is a private emergency ambulance transport company located in Oneida, New York. Incorporated in 1992 we service patients in both Madison and Oneida Counties. Our medical billing staff consists of professional ambulance coders and billers who are in need of a medical receptionist to assist in answering phone calls and providing high level assistance to our patients. Vineall Ambulance’s mission is to provide the best care to our patients from the time they are transported until their claims are complete. Low-key office environment with close ties to the community, we are looking for someone who is both professional and personable.
Ambulance Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
· Serves patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, processing payments by phone or in person and updates patient records.
- Welcomes visitors in person or on the telephone and take detailed messages as needed.
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction by contacting patients by telephone to verify all patient information including insurance.
- Ensures confidentiality when retrieving patient records.
- Prepares, processes, and archives memos, correspondence, and other documents.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
- Process returned mail.
- Occasionally ride back up ambulance.
Work Hours and Benefits: Office staff work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (1 hour unpaid lunch). Salary range dependent on the degree of experience. On the job training provided. Benefits offered include weekly direct deposit, individual retirement account, paid holidays, vacation pay, optional medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Pay: $19.54 - $20.19 per hour
