Position Summary
The Director of Education oversees the business operations of the Vineyard Community Center's (VCC) Education Programs and Services, including the Early Childhood Center, After-School Program, Summer Program, and Adult Day Services Program . This role is responsible for enrollment management, regulatory compliance, budgeting, staff supervision, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the Administrator on the ODJFS license, ensuring compliance with all licensing and Step Up to Quality standards
- Oversee enrollment processes and staffing to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements
- Manage funding reports, licensure compliance, and community partnerships while maintaining accurate documentation
- Provide leadership and supervision to administrative staff and program managers, including the Café Manager, Youth Education Program Manager, and Adult Day Services Program Manager
- Ensure professional development for self and staff in key areas such as ODJFS, CACFP / SFSP, SEL, ServSafe, CPR / First Aid, and OCCRRA .
- Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified team members to support program needs
- Oversee and manage education program budgets , ensuring fiscal health and compliance with financial cycles
- Cultivate a strong sense of community and engagement among program participants and families
- Strengthen community partnerships with schools and organizations, collaborating on school planning and participation in events
