Workforce Case Manager
Vineyard Family Services is a faith-based family resource center with a mission to feed children, promote responsible fatherhood, and help families in crisis. A successful candidate for this position will be comfortable in multiple settings including correctional, reentry facility, court, faith based, business, educational, and other community organizations.
· Collaborate with Family Services team to carry out workforce grant requirements
· Receive referrals and complete intake assessments
· Help clients find work, reenter workforce, and be successful in job retention
· Attend recruitment events and job fairs
· Prepare client paperwork for the enrollment process
· Recruit/develop partnerships with community organizations and businesses
· Promote public awareness and advocate for organization goals
· Promote parental engagement
· Resource development
· Administer pre/post surveys and provide program data to Data Manager
· Follow guidelines for grant expenditures
· Maintain confidentiality of participants
· Maintain open communication with Family Service Director and Executive Team
· Be an active listener for the participants’ needs, providing support and encouragement
· Empower participants to resolve issues and to develop coping strategies
· Model healthy, trusting relationships through communication and appropriate boundaries
· Acknowledge strengths, talents and gifts and encourage participants to use them
· Coordinate services for participants and serve as liaison with referral agencies
· Assist participants in overcoming barriers to employment and facilitate services that enhance employability of participants
· Maintain monthly contact with participants and record communication and progress in monthly progress notes
· Complete job skills assessments of program participants
· Complete individualized goal-centered case plans
· Maintain orderly and confidential case filing system
· Follow conscientious case closure procedures and track and follow program graduates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,900.00 per year
