We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
• Support the culinary team during peak service times by providing assistance where needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A background in hospitality or culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts.
