Overview:
The Jr Allocation Analyst will report directly to the Store Planning & Allocation Manager, Outlet. Their primary responsibility will be managing inventory levels in our Outlet stores, identifying risks & opportunities in depth & assortment. They will be responsible for partnering with planning and merchandising to develop & execute allocation targets and strategies to support sales and inventory plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory from initial allocation through end of life cycle of merchandise, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels
- Analyze class size selling at the store level on a seasonal basis, in order to update size curves for the total buy,
- Analyze size curves at the store level, to ensure an optimal customer experience by sending stores the sizes they need for their demand, increasing conversion and sell through
- Forecast store inventory levels at the department, sub-department level, ensuring we are efficient and targeted with where we send our inventory
- Track and communicate delivery status to cross functional members with action plans
- Monitor Core inventory and share risk and opportunities during our monthly OTB process.
- Communicate to stores current out of stock items and inform them of inbound assortment
- Monitor store inventory levels and sales performance at the product level, in order to derive allocation and consolidation strategies that will drive higher sell through rates.
- Partner with Production to review and approve POs each season
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, Google Suite
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities, maintain composure under pressure, while remaining flexible
- Ability to respond to change positively
- Capable of seeing larger picture and understanding how your role impacts the larger business
- Strong time management skills
- JDA Allocation experience preferred
